Are you pregnant women? According a new study from the Centers for Disease Control, there are two types of the drug can cause defect in newborn baby. These group are the nitrofurantoins and the sulfonamides.

The last group include diuretics such as Bumetanide and Clopamide, and COX-2 painkillers. The nitrofurantoins include the drug Furadantin are used for the pregnant women in resistant case of other antibiotics.

The effect of Penicillin was negligible acording opinion of CDC researchers. To prevent birth defect on your baby, you doctor have believed antibiotic do not affect the growing fetus.
